She has extensive experience working with at-risk children and families.She worked as an individual and family therapist in the San Francisco Bay area with multi-stressed children and their caregivers, many of whom were involved in the child welfare system. Currently Dr. Berry is a Postdoctoral Research Associate with Dr. Phil Fisher’s Stress Neurobiology and Prevention Research Lab, where she studies the impact of early adversity on the developing brain and the development of targeted interventions to improve outcomes for high-risk children.
