Dr. Jack Shonkoff (Harvard Center on the Developing Child) offers insight into the current state of the “Frontiers of Innovation”, what needs to happen next and why Alberta is at the gateway of innovation. He demonstrates the need for a new community of change agents to understand, design, drive and deliver effective programs of early intervention that build adult capabilities as well as focusing on the child. The field requires leaders to use new science and short-cycle feedback to advance policies and practice.
