CME Credits

This event is an accredited Simulation Activity (Section 3) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification (MOC) Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC), and approved by the University of Calgary Office of Continuing Medical Education and Professional Development. This activity has been approved for a maximum of 2 hours (credits are automatically calculated).

The Resilience Scale: A clinical Tool for Physicians

Resilience is the ability to adapt and remain healthy in the face of adversity and can be strengthened or weakened over time in response to our experiences. The Resilience Scale tool developed by the Palix Foundation (Alberta Family Wellness Initiative) helps to illustrate how three factors interact to determine resilience: adversities, positive supports, and acquired skills and abilities.
